Dyrup sells to the professional market through its own paint centres, independent wholesalers specialising in paints and builders’ merchants catering for the building trade, focusing on high quality paint products, wood stain, top coats, and interior as well as exterior decoration. The end users are professional decorators.

The professional market accounted for 38% of Dyrup’s revenue in 2007. Sales to this market are highly dependent on the level of building activity, which fell drastically in the third quarter of 2008 due to the global conjunctions, especially in countries such as Denmark and Spain. In 2009 it is Dyrups mission to strengthen its position in the professional market even more, by focusing on a stronger profile.
